Job Title:

Health Information Specialist

As a Health Information Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient data. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records.

  • Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
  • Certified RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or equivalent qualification
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Code Review and Validation: Ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical statements by reviewing and validating codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS systems
  2. Work closely with healthcare providers to verify accuracy and maintain patient confidentiality
  3. Stay updated with coding guidelines and practices to ensure compliance

Requirements:
