Billing Support Associate Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Billing Support Associate who can provide exceptional customer service and resolve account and billing related issues.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with tight deadlines. They should also be self-motivated and have good customer empathy.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers via live chats, emails, and support tickets to answer their billing queries.
  • Identify non-legitimate customers and contact them to verify their identity.
  • Handle billing recoveries, chargebacks, disputes, and account abuses in a timely manner.
  • Act on abuse alerts and reach out to customers to resolve their issues promptly.
  • Share customers' feedback with internal teams to improve products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication with native fluency and ability to listen.
  • Ideal 6-12 months of experience working in a tech company with a customer-facing role.
  • Previous experience in web hosting companies is a plus.
  • Remote work experience is a plus.
  • Strong Customer Empathy and ability to manage and escalate customer issues.
  • Punctual and trustworthy with a thirst for learning.
  • Strong ownership and resilient under pressure.
  • Schedule flexibility and intermediate abilities with Excel or Google Sheets.
