Job Title: Linguistic Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to translate text and audio recordings from one language to another while ensuring accuracy, context, and cultural relevance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-specific terminology to guarantee precise translation.
  • Maintain the original meaning and tone of content while translating.
  • Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations.
  • Cross-reference dictionaries and translation tools to verify translation quality.
  • Perform a rigorous proofreading process to ensure grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and clients to confirm translation meets their requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Translator or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Chinese, English, or native language.
  • Superior proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Familiarity with content editing tools.
  • Bonus points for additional certification in Linguistics.
