We are seeking an experienced medical billing professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong billing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with providers, insurance companies, and patients.
Job Responsibilities:- Accurately input patient charges into the billing system.
- Create and maintain detailed and accurate patient charts.
- Post payments from patients and insurance carriers promptly and correctly.
- Verify insurance benefits and patient eligibility over the phone to ensure accurate billing.
- Conduct diligent follow-ups with insurance carriers to resolve outstanding claims.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials efficiently to optimize reimbursement.
- Compile and analyze billing and performance reports for internal use and decision-making.
- Handle patient billing inquiries, including answering phone calls.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in medical billing.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Office Ally EHR and PM is required.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and insurance guidelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, patients, and insurance carriers.
