Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our QA team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about quality, mobile and web testing, and working in fast-paced Agile environments.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year of hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing, a strong grasp of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and quality best practices.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and developers to understand business requirements, creating and executing comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for iOS and Android applications, documenting test objectives, steps, and expected outcomes for seamless communication and traceability, participating in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups, conducting functional, regression, and exploratory testing, troubleshooting and documenting issues thoroughly, and working with the engineering team to identify root causes of complex issues and suggest long-term solutions.

Requirements:
  • Experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
  • API testing skills (experience with Postman preferred).
  • Proficient in manual testing of mobile apps (iOS & Android).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Basic experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Cypress, Playwright, or similar web testing tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and version control tools.
  • Exposure to financial applications or fintech environments.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
Candidates with strong academic backgrounds from reputable universities will be given preference.
