Job Title: Research Associate
About the Job:
The Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology at Government College University is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the position of Research Associate. The successful candidate will be involved in a research project focused on metabolic engineering of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae to produce fourth generation biofuels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research experiments and data analysis under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Developing and implementing new methods for metabolic engineering of yeast.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Enrolled Ph.D. Student within GCUF in the Discipline of Biotechnology.
- Relevant experience will be preferred.
Benefits:
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month for a contract duration of 01-Year (extendable up to 02 more years). The interviews of the short-listed candidates will be conducted tentatively.
