We are seeking a talented Copywriter & Cultural Journalist to join our growing editorial and creative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Copywriting for Marketing & Brand Communication
    • Write clear, compelling copy for campaigns, ads, emails, product launches, website pages, and internal documents.
    • Develop messaging that supports the company's sales, engagement, and brand positioning goals.
    • Adapt tone and style across various platforms while maintaining brand consistency and cultural authenticity.
    • Collaborate with design, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure copy aligns with broader creative strategies.
  • Journalism & Opinion Writing
    • Research, pitch, and write original articles, essays, and op-eds focused on Islamic culture, Muslim identity, and current events.
    • Produce high-quality editorial content for Muslimi.com and related publications that is timely, accurate, and thought-provoking.
    • Conduct interviews and report on stories that matter to the Muslim world, both locally and globally.
    • Maintain high editorial standards with attention to factual accuracy, clarity, and cultural nuance.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–3+ years of professional writing experience in journalism, editorial content, or copywriting.
  • Excellent writing, research, and editing skills with the ability to write in multiple tones and formats.
  • Deep understanding of Islamic culture, values, and global Muslim affairs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
