Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team as a Trainee.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in computer science, information security, or a related field, with a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and network protocols.

  • Monitor security alerts and logs from various sources, including SIEM tools.
  • Assist in identifying and responding to security incidents, performing initial triage and escalating incidents as per defined procedures.
  • Analyze suspicious activities and provide basic threat intelligence.
  • Document incident response steps and findings.
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and security audits.
  • Support SOC analysts in creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree (completed or final year) in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or any SOC-specific training, are preferred.

Experience with Linux/Windows command-line tools, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and exposure to Linux/Windows operation systems are also advantageous.
