Job Description:

A highly skilled software developer is required to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using the Drupal content management system.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot and debug complex code issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  2. Develop and maintain secure, scalable and high-performing Drupal websites that meet client needs and expectations.
  3. Collaborate with designers, developers and project managers to plan and execute successful projects.
  4. Implement best practices to ensure high-quality code, usability and accessibility standards.
  5. Test and deploy web applications providing ongoing maintenance and support.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and recommend new technologies to improve functionality and performance.
  7. Document all code and changes to ensure easy maintenance and future updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in developing custom modules, themes and plugins.
  3. Experience with Drupal 7, Drupal 8 and preferably Drupal 9.
  4. Familiarity with Drupal theming and site building.
  5. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is an asset.
  6. Experience with integrating with third-party systems is an asset.
  7. Experience with Agile development methodologies is an asset.
  8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of security and performance optimization best practices.
