Our company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Design & Proposal Engineer – Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, development, and proposal of systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative design solutions, preparing technical proposals, and contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

  • Reviewing/analyzing RFQs with respect to technical & commercial requirements. Proposing Turn-Key solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures relating to business conduct. Meeting all OEM ethical & legal standards with regards to commercial processes.
  • Responsibly executing all international bids and proposals while minimizing risk in all outgoing bids.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals in-line with client requirements.
  • OEM & Vendor coordination, negotiations, and cost analysis in-line with company's terms & conditions.
  • Maintain business relationships with vendors & OEMs and enhance supply chain.
  • Team development (development of Subject Matter Specialists (SME) in the team) & resource management.
  • New initiatives for business by adding new OEM/solutions.
  • Preparation of prequalification, tender documentation (technical & commercial), method statements & bids.
  • Preparation of compliances, system architecture/topology, project schedules.
  • System design (sizing of system hardware & software), cost estimation and optimization in-line with RFQ requirements.
  • Providing technical and commercial pre-sales support to exceed strategic targets.
  • Working well with international teams to drive customer-centric solutions and managing day-to-day departmental matters.
  • Focusing on improving sales team effectiveness. Adding value by supporting international technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.
  • Aligned with all internal key stakeholders while ensuring task completion within agreed timelines.
  • Strategize effectively during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and minimize the impact on project execution.
  • Diagnose, document, and solve customer problems with seamless solutions. Extract and validate actual solutions with value delivered and pave the way for value propositions.
  • Understanding the contractual terms & conditions and effectively negotiate with customers.

This role requires excellent communication skills, good oral and written English, and knowledge of oil and gas industry standards. A graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering and at least 8-10 years' experience are also necessary.
