The Importance of This Role

This Backend Engineer position plays a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems that power SadaPay's products.

Your work will ensure millions of users enjoy fast, secure, and reliable financial experiences every day.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and build scalable backend systems: Create APIs, services, and data pipelines to support our mobile and web applications.
  • Ensure reliability and performance: Optimize system architecture to handle rapid growth and large-scale user activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, develop, and deploy new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable code: Follow best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.
  • Own deployment and monitoring: Manage services from development to production, ensuring high availability and quick incident response.
  • Improve continuously: Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices to keep our systems modern and efficient.
What We're Looking For

A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and relevant experience in designing, building, and maintaining production systems.

Proficiency in .NET Core and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.

Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and passion for building reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
