Role Description

This position involves working as a Project Estimator and Scheduler, responsible for estimating and scheduling construction projects to ensure accurate project costs and timelines.

As a key member of the project team, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop and maintain project estimates, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and work effectively in a team environment.

  1. Estimation and Scheduling: Develop and maintain accurate project estimates and schedules, including material quantities, labor requirements, and equipment needs.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery.
  4. Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership abilities, mentor junior staff members, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and other industry-specific tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
