We are seeking a talented Business Development Professional to develop and execute business development strategies to improve attainment of business goals.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through continuous customer satisfaction.
- Timely redressal of customer complaints and response to enquiries.
- Management and retention of a defined customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales plans/strategies/activities to achieve target budgets.
- Negotiate contractual terms of service provision aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality presentations of standardized products and services to potential customers.
- Plan, prepare, and realize sales calls for better customer retention and new business acquisition.
- Secure/collect necessary information to assess credit worthiness of potential customers.
- Conduct surveys and market intelligence gathering to assess and target potential business prospects, and review competitor behavior.
- Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in field sales at freight forwarding.
- Broad understanding of trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry and deep knowledge of Ocean freight and logistics business models.
- Master's degree preferred in a relevant field.
- Capability to deliver presentations and highly effective in conducting sales negotiations.
- Proven sales record.
- Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
