Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will spearhead data-driven initiatives, architecting scalable solutions and applying advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design, development, and testing of big data applications for timely delivery
  • Proactive code optimizations
  • Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and teams for solution implementation
  • End-to-end data solutions, from collection and cleaning to predictive model deployment
  • Exploratory data analysis using statistical methods to uncover trends and actionable insights
  • Data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for findings communication
  • Providing recommendations for key decisions and strategy improvement
  • Learning and integrating with systems, APIs, and platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or big data development
  • Proven track record of guiding projects
  • Expertise in Python, PySpark, Jupyter Notebooks, and environment controllers (e.g., Poetry, PipEnv)
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks platform and Apache Spark
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
  • Strong practical knowledge of data cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques
  • Experience with code versioning tools like Git
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
