Enterprise Lead Solution Architect – BANK

One of our Clients Middle East largest bank and a leading financial institution in the region, is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Lead Solution Architect to join our expanding team. This individual will play a pivotal role in architecting robust, scalable, and secure banking solutions, with a special focus on the Data Localisation Program. The ideal candidate must demonstrate deep experience in key banking applications, including Digital Channels, Temenos Digital Framework, Temenos Core Banking R25, Payments, CRM, Card Management Systems, Document Management Systems, Middleware/Microservices, Oracle Cloud, and other supporting platforms. This is a leadership position responsible for guiding a team of solution architects and collaborating with various business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the solution architecture design and delivery for the BANK Data Localization Prognsuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and BANK's enterprise technology strategies.
• Provide technical and architectural leadership to a team of solution architects, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high standards of delivery.
• Architect and oversee the implementation of end-to-end solutions across Digital Channels, Temenos Digital Framework, Temenos Core Banking R25 or previous 2 or 3 versions, Payments, CRM, Card Management Systems, Document Management Systems, Middleware/Microservices, Oracle Cloud, and other critical banking systems.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions.
• Assess the current application landscape and define the roadmap for modernization and integration, with an emphasis on cloud adoption, data sovereignty, and seamless user experience.
• Ensure all solution designs adhere to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, data privacy regulations, and best practices specific to the Saudi Arabian banking sector.
• Mentor, coach, and develop solution architects within the team, driving continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting banking technology and data localization in Saudi Arabia.
• Prepare and deliver architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and presentations for technical and business audiences.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture within the banking or financial services industry, with recent experience in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering solutions for key banking applications, especially: Digital Channel platforms
• Temenos Digital Framework & Temenos Core Banking R25. Prior working experience on R18-R24 preferred
• Payments, CRM, Card Management Systems
• Document Management Systems
• Middleware/Microservices architecture
• Oracle Cloud and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong understanding of data localization, data privacy, and banking compliance requirements within the Bank regulatory landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor high-performing technical teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-system integration projects.
• Professional certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), cloud platforms, or relevant banking solutions are a plus.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
