ICT Project Facilitation Role

The ICT Project Facilitator plays a pivotal role in supporting communities by spearheading key initiatives, fostering partnerships, and driving innovation.

This position will be responsible for crafting a facilitation plan to support the community and partner communities. Upon satisfactory completion of this period, they will embark on a range of strategic objectives aimed at enhancing capacity and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Management: Develop and maintain the website, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience.
  • Operational Manual: Create an operational manual outlining best practices, processes, and procedures for efficient management.
  • Blogging Software: Design, develop, and maintain offline blogging software with robust checks and balances, accompanied by an operational manual.
  • Methodology Adherence: Ensure consistent adherence to methodology, philosophy, goals, and objectives throughout all program facilitation activities.
  • Logistics Support: Collaborate with logistic staff to prepare specifications for ICT equipment procurement.
  • Capacity Building: Develop ICT awareness sessions manual for communities, enhance capacities of ICT field staff, and conduct monitoring visits.
  • Administrative Support: Provide feedback to management on administrative and financial software.
  • Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analyses, balance time-cost ratios, and focus efforts on implementation strategies yielding accurate project outcomes.
  • Partner Support: Oversee ICT support for partners and associated partner communities.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical assistance in conducting baseline surveys, action research, developing IEC material, and establishing community ICT centers.
  • Occasional Duties: Assist with occasional duties requested by management from time to time.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.

Qualification: Masters in IT or equivalent degree.

Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Joomla, WordPress, basic knowledge of business process management systems (ERP/CRM), training skills, client-end support, LAN/WLAN/WAN knowledge, and more.

Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong command of written and spoken English, flexible, able to meet deadlines, team player, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
