Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure adherence to accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize financial performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing with at least 3 years in a management capacity
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Professional certification, such as CFA or CPA

Financial Functions

Invoice Generation: Accurate and timely invoice creation for clients, ensuring clarity, correctness, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Voucher Recording: Efficient and systematic voucher recording, maintaining meticulous documentation for smooth auditing processes and financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Advanced skills in budgeting and forecasting, developing realistic financial plans, monitoring performance against targets, and making data-driven adjustments.
Expense Management: Effective expense management, analyzing cost structures, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing strategies to control and reduce expenditure while maintaining operational efficiency.
Financial Reporting: Comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Tax Compliance: Knowledgeable about tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all financial activities, including timely submission of tax returns, minimizing tax liabilities, and maximizing available deductions.
Risk Management: Skilled in identifying financial risks, assessing their potential impact on the organization, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, safeguard assets, and protect the financial health of the company.
Financial Analysis: Proficient in conducting in-depth financial analysis, utilizing various tools and techniques to interpret financial data, identify trends, evaluate performance.
