Sales and Floor Presentation
Be aware of your most profitable and best-selling lines. Effectively merchandise your floor, creating eye-catching displays that draw customers in. Ensure all goods are correctly priced and well ticketed to prevent stock loss.
Leadership and Staff Development
Provide leadership for sales team members, guiding them towards achieving their full potential. Plan and implement training sessions, liaising with the Training Manager and Store Manager as needed. Update staff on new products and company policies to keep them informed.
Inventory Management
Ensure accurate completion of stock sheets, universal orders, and special orders to maintain an up-to-date inventory. Monitor purchase orders and chase outstanding ones to prevent delays. Cancel goods when necessary to avoid unnecessary stock build-up.
Security and Safety
Assume responsibility for tills, stock, health and safety, and staff security issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Required Skills and QualificationsRequirements:
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise.
- Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
