Changi Airport Business Development Manager

About the Role
This Terminal Leader position is a key role in our airport operations at Changi Airport. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our teams and drive business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams to achieve sales and revenue targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Work closely with store teams and leaders to improve customer service levels and drive business growth
- Effectively manage people, including performance-based rostering, annual leave management, retention, recruitment, and performance management
- Support product launches and promotions to drive business growth
- Manage inventory and margins across the airport to ensure optimal financial performance
- Coach staff on standard operating procedures and operational disciplines
- Support communication among site staff and management to ensure seamless operations
- Develop strong relationships with local stakeholders, including landlords and airport authorities
- Stay up-to-date with company training requirements and share best practices within the airport
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the financial services industry, preferably in foreign exchange or retail, with at least 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and financial acumen
- Ability to uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
