Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage warehouse transactions, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Record and reconcile warehouse transactions on a weekly and monthly basis.
  2. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, and report any damage to the relevant authorities.
  3. Ensure that shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner.
  4. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  5. Retain and review warehouse documents and reports.
  6. Determine appropriate places for storage.
  7. Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.
  8. Develop precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss.
  9. Maintain records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
  10. Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.
  11. Issue or distribute materials, parts, and stationery and others to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  12. Set re-order level and control over/less stocking and its continuous monitoring and reporting.
  13. Control working capital due to overstocking.
Job Specifications:
  1. Good knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.
  2. Good knowledge of report writing and information presentation.
  3. Ability to manage an inventory system.
  4. Good command over English.
  5. Good command over computer/MS Office.
