**Job Title:** Taxation Professional

The primary role of the Taxation Professional is to ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing of Monthly Sales Tax Returns of all companies within the Group.
  • Filing of Monthly Withholding Tax (Salary and Other than salary) Returns of all companies within the Group.
  • Preparation of Tax Challans of Income and Sales Tax.
  • Preparation of Annual Income Tax Return of all projects within the Group.
  • Preparation of Annual Withholding tax Returns of all projects within the Group.
  • Preparation of replies to Notices issued by Tax authorities.
  • Assisting Tax manager as and when required.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in taxation department.
  • Experience in industry rather than audit firm would be preferred.
  • Masters or equivalent qualification.
  • CA/ACCA/ICMA/CIMA.
  • Candidates with part qualified professional degrees having at least 2 years of experience can apply.

**Competencies:**

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in any accounting software.
  • Highly competent in using eFBR website.
  • Should have in depth knowledge of e- filing of all tax returns (withholding, sales tax, income tax etc).
  • Should have up to date knowledge of Pakistani taxation rates , rules and regulations.
  • Must be hard working and willing to work with diversified group members.
