The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all statutory tax compliance tasks and accounting matters, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, maintaining proper tax records, and supporting internal and external audits. The role demands a keen understanding of Pakistan's taxation laws and strong analytical capabilities to manage documentation and communication with tax authorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and filing monthly and annual tax returns, including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Assisting with tax audits and responding to queries from tax authorities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Replying to tax notices and tax queries, if any.
  • Maintaining proper tax documentation, registers, and up-to-date compliance records.
  • Supporting internal departments with tax-related advice and clarifications.
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assisting in Payroll, Vendor Payments, and Receivables.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Department Head.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or certifications such as CAF, ACCA, or CMA, or articleship is a plus).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in taxation or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Accounts and ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
