Network Operations Manager Job Summary

This challenging role requires a seasoned professional to oversee the management of voice and data networks, ensuring they meet the functional objectives of the business.

  • The successful candidate will manage a team of Network Engineers to guarantee that our networks function as expected.
  • Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, verifying, and troubleshooting local and wide-area enterprise networks in collaboration with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless, and video solutions.
  • Opportunities for improving network infrastructure will be identified, and suggestions for improvement made.
  • Network changes will be reviewed, coordinated, and approved to ensure seamless implementation across the enterprise.
  • A deep understanding of business processes and critical systems and networks is essential.
  • The role also involves enforcing strategic network standards to meet application and data security requirements.
  • Providing guidance and direction for ongoing maintenance, project implementation, and network operations is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a network or infrastructure support environment and at least 2 years in a team lead/supervisory role.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a network or infrastructure support environment.
  • Minimum 2 years in a team lead/supervisory role.
  • Experience in developing process and procedural documentation.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional technical support.
  • Able to work professionally in a pressured, diverse, and growing environment.
  • Management of web operations in a Linux/LAMP architecture with network and server infrastructure.
  • Management of Linux-based email servers, firewalls, proxy, IPSec, etc.
  • Experience with DNS, Load Balancing technology, networking monitoring, and business continuity.
