We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Must have strong experience in Mainframe technology (COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, etc.) to involve in system testing, SIT, functional and regression testing, test case creation, and execution.
  2. Need to create, run, and execute JCLs in Mainframe, validate job status in spool, and have problem-solving skills to resolve JCL errors. Experience in writing complex SQL queries and running Mainframe DB post-execution.
  3. Identify and escalate risks and issues to project management and managers. Provide daily status progress reporting to project stakeholders and senior management. Attend project calls and meetings, and support end-to-end SIT, UAT, etc.
  4. Well-versed with different testing methodologies (waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc.), techniques, phases, and tools, and can adapt as per project requirements.
  5. Execute tests, track and monitor defects/stories to closure, and produce test metrics and reports using GitHub, Jenkins, or automation tools.
  6. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, be self-directed, organized, and capable of multi-tasking. Good analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  7. Experience in creating reports in JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence, etc.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance.
  9. Experience in creating test estimations, test strategies, and assisting team members in developing Test Plans. Provide regular updates to management and oversee day-to-day testing activities, including test monitoring and status reporting.
  10. Nurture team members on mainframe and functional skills and expertise (e.g., REXX, JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, Core Banking, Lending products, Product ledger management, Fees, and interest).
  11. Assign tasks based on individual skills and workload, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  12. Track team progress and individual contributions against goals and deadlines.
