Backend Software Engineer

As a skilled Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our cutting-edge application. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in backend architecture and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs using Python (Django or FastAPI).
  • Own the deployment and scaling of backend services on AWS.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and other security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent features into the application.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Monitor application performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python.
  • Strong experience with Django and/or FastAPI frameworks.
  • Proven experience designing and building backend systems and APIs from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
  • Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, session management, and secure API design.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with integrating or building AI/ML-powered features.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, architectural thinking, and a proactive mindset.
