
Manager of IT Services

This job involves leading a team of IT professionals and overseeing various aspects of IT operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT experts, providing guidance, support, and direction in their roles and responsibilities.
- IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives, enhancing efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Oversee resource utilization, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal use of resources.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for business continuity and disaster recovery in IT systems.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the IT team and organize or provide training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within IT.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills:
- Relevant certifications are desirable.
- Experience in cloud technologies is beneficial.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations.
