Special Education Teacher Opportunity

The Circle is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills Program for children with diverse learning needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design student academic journeys punctuated by periodic milestone assessments and implement tailored strategies for students with ADHD, autism, and other learning delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and behavior data.
  • Collaborate with the team to support students in reaching their full potential.
  • Communicate regularly with families to address concerns and share progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Processing difficulties, and developmental delays.
  • Fluency in English with a solid grasp of phonology and educational assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training or certification in the Orton-Gillingham approach or other structured literacy programs.
  • Basic knowledge of psychology and neuroscience.
