We are looking for a Student Engagement Specialist who will be the first point of contact for students, providing knowledgeable, empathetic, and personalized guidance. You will be the voice of Success Factor, helping students navigate their questions about higher education and ensuring they feel understood and supported.

About the Role:

We're seeking a meticulous Research Coach to support our admissions strategists with accurate, real-time university research. This role is vital in shaping student success by ensuring advice is backed by data, deadlines, and insights across global application systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive research on university admissions across major destinations (US, UK, Canada, Europe, Asia), including program offerings, eligibility, testing, tuition, financial aid, and application timelines.
  2. Stay updated on portals such as UCAS, OUAC, Common App, FAFSA, CSS Profile, ISFAA, ApplyTexas, Coalition App, etc.
  3. Build and maintain a searchable, accurate database of university information aligned with strategist needs.
  4. Track global admissions trends (e.g., test-optional policies, tuition hikes, acceptance rate changes) and provide regular briefs to the counseling team.
  5. Serve as a resource for strategists needing real-time facts and policy updates for high-stakes decisions.
  6. Collaborate with counselors, editors, and trainers to ensure student guidance materials are evidence-based and current.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. Expertise with university application portals and financial aid systems (UCAS, Common App, FAFSA, CSS, etc.).
  2. Strong research skills to extract, synthesize, and simplify large information volumes.
  3. Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  4. Comfort working with deadlines, evolving policies, and region-specific data.
  5. Background in education, counseling, or admissions is a plus but not mandatory.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
