Job Title: Population Health SpecialistOverview:

The Population Welfare Department in Punjab seeks highly qualified candidates for the positions of Medical Officer, Assistant Director, and Deputy District Population Welfare Officer. The successful candidates will contribute to enhancing public health and promoting family planning throughout the province.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Services: Provide comprehensive medical services to individuals and families, focusing on reproductive health and family planning.
  • Health Education: Educate communities on various health issues, including maternal and child health, nutrition, and family planning methods.
  • Clinical Management: Manage clinical services, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Program Implementation: Assist in implementing population welfare programs and policies.
  • Supervision: Supervise field staff to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on program activities and outcomes.
  • Community Outreach: Engage with communities to promote population welfare programs.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, including staff and budget, to ensure program efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor program activities, evaluate their effectiveness, and suggest improvements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
