Chief Financial Officer Job

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company.

  • Manage a team of finance professionals to ensure efficient financial processes and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial plans, risk management strategies, and their alignment with business goals.
  • Direct the preparation of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and tax returns.
  • Administer sales and profit projections to actual figures, comparing budgeted expenses to actual expenses.
  • Oversee necessary adjustments related to future projections and budgets to maximize profit.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion through new product areas and invest in funds through banks to raise additional capital.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certifications in Finance and Business.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CFO in the Retail industry.
  • 8-10 years of total accounting or financial management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence to motivate staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP, Risk Management, and budgeting.
  • A problem-solving and critical thinking mindset.
