We are looking for a proficient Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the integration of the front-end part. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be working closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
  2. Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  3. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  4. Conduct analysis of website and application requirements.
  5. Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codes.
  6. Database designing and maintenance.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  8. Perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance.
  9. Collaborate and work with frontend and mobile app developers on the backend needs of projects.
  10. Adhere closely to development plans and anticipate changes to specifications or schedule as they become necessary during development.
  11. Work with project managers when gathering requirements, presenting work, etc. and be able to take complex technical terms and break them down into layman's terms.

Job SpecificationRequirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a PHP developer with a strong background in Laravel or similar frameworks.
  3. Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  4. Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
  5. Experience with database design and administration.
  6. Understanding of open source projects like WordPress, etc. is a plus.
  7. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc).
  8. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
  9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
