Senior DevOps Engineer - Software Delivery Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to maximize software delivery efficiency and consistency. This critical role will serve as the amplifier for an engineering team's abilities, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across our cloud infrastructure on AWS.

The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency with AWS services, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, monitoring and logging tools, and Node.js is highly desirable. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid and reliable software deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS ECS.
  • Integrate security best practices into all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and ensure smooth software releases.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for legacy system migration.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, EKS, IAM).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (GitLab).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (DataDog, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks (e.g. express).
