Quality Assurance Manager Role

Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of a department, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules and CGMP standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing in-process inspections, maintaining standard operating procedures for production and warehousing, conducting vendor visits, audits, and recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth operation of the department from a technical and administrative standpoint.
  • To oversee in-process inspections through Quality Assurance checks.
  • Maintain adherence to GMP rules and CGMP standards across all operations.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for production and warehouse management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure environmental health and stability compliance.
  • Develop and implement change control protocols.
  • Handle complaints efficiently.
  • Provide training for production, warehouse, QC staff, and workers on quality assurance best practices.
  • Periodically evaluate product quality and review stability data.
  • Develop validation protocols and conduct validation exercises to ensure process validation compliance.
  • Determine specifications for raw materials and packing materials, ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage production records and archive legal documents and reference samples.
  • Allocate control numbers and manage sampling procedures.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They should be well-versed in GMP regulations and have experience in managing teams and implementing quality control processes.
