Content Editor Position

About the Job:

  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit articles for factual accuracy, clarity, grammar, and overall quality, ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Style and Tone: Ensure consistent style and tone across all published content while performing detailed copy editing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Managing Editor and Associate Editor to meet editorial deadlines and manage the content pipeline.
  • Accuracy and Consistency: Verify information and sources while ensuring consistency in style and formatting across all content.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, English, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written English and Urdu language skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Cultural Understanding: Strong understanding of Pakistan's political and cultural landscape.
