Cyber Security Professorship Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cyber Security Professor to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity fundamentals and develop security policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Cyber Security and have a track record of at least 10 academic publications. With a required experience of 5 years in the field, the candidate should be adept at engaging students, overseeing research projects, and contributing to the growth of the academic program without managing a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on cybersecurity topics, ensuring that course material is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Develop and assess instructional materials, including syllabi, course outlines, and evaluation methods that adhere to the university's academic standards.
  • Guide students in executing their research projects, providing mentorship and support to foster their academic growth.
  • Stay current with trends, advancements, and challenges in the cybersecurity landscape to effectively incorporate real-world scenarios into teaching and research.
  • Contribute to scholarly research through publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals and presenting findings at relevant conferences.
  • Participate in departmental activities, including curriculum development, program assessment, and academic advising for students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other academic departments to enhance interdisciplinary initiatives within the university.
  • Engage in community outreach and service activities that promote awareness and education in cybersecurity practices beyond the classroom.
