Job Title

Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, and AWS Kinesis. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and implementing data pipelines that meet the needs of stakeholders across the organization.
  2. Ensuring the quality and accessibility of data through data cleansing and transformation routines.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data models in data warehouse systems like Snowflake or AWS Redshift.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7+ years of experience as a data engineer or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, data quality practices, and data governance principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
