About the Role

This Accounts Executive position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage financial operations, including credit control, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

  1. Credit Control: Tracking outstanding payments, following up on overdue invoices, and ensuring timely collection of debts.
  2. Debt Collection Coordination: Collaborating with debt collection agencies to recover payments.
  3. Financial Operations Support: Assisting the Business Development (BD) Accountant in their day-to-day tasks related to the financial aspects of business development activities.
  4. Financial Reporting: Creating and managing financial statements and dashboards.
  5. Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing necessary tax and financial forms for the company.
  6. Audit Support: Supporting the completion of audits with attention to detail and quality.
  7. Process Optimization: Learning and applying best practices and optimizations in accounting processes.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborating with finance personnel to develop methods for creating more accurate financial records and models.
  9. Audit Management: Managing audits on behalf of the company.
  10. Filing Schedule: Determining the proper company filing schedule based on available information.
  11. Quality Assurance: Assisting in quality assurance by reviewing audit reports and filings for errors.
  12. Implementation: Implementing feedback and changes under supervision.
  13. Visualization: Creating visualizations that convey accurate financial views of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounts & Finance.
  • Proven experience in financial operations and credit control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
