Senior Tax Associate

A Senior Tax Associate plays a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their tax obligations across diverse specialties. By leveraging expertise in business analysis, managing indirect taxes, and resolving disputes, this individual provides strategic guidance on local and overseas tax affairs.

This role involves engaging with clients to identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing tax strategies that align with business objectives, and resolving disagreements with tax authorities. Key areas of focus include international tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, and regulatory processes.

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to extract insights from current industry trends. Effective communication and leadership abilities are also essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Tax Strategies: Work with clients to develop and implement tax strategies that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Tax Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with client transactions and operations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support: Ensure clients comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist clients in resolving disputes with tax authorities.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: ACCA Affiliate or completed CA articleship.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in tax and 3 years of overall professional experience.
