Production Management is a crucial aspect of any organization, ensuring that production levels meet targeted plans while maintaining efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee plant equipment and production operations to optimize output.
  2. Maintain close monitoring of production capacity and process efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Evaluate sales demand and execute production plans accordingly.
  4. Supervise manpower and provide training as needed.
  5. Develop work schedules, monitor staff performance, and implement staff training programs.
  6. Monitor quality control parameters and implement corrective actions against complaints or defects.
  7. Reduce in-house defects by implementing effective countermeasures.
  8. Catalog and manage material requirements according to production plans, minimizing raw material waste and losses.
  9. Verify inventory levels for raw materials, production in progress, and finished goods warehousing.
  10. Coordinate with the maintenance department to address repair and maintenance tasks.
  11. Maintain communication channels with senior management and ensure vertical communication throughout the organization.
  12. Promote cost-saving initiatives and quality circles to drive organizational excellence.
  13. Establish and enforce preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
