Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our business growth initiatives in Lahore. This role demands a strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of the IT services landscape and a proven track record in business development.

About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site position that involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and crafting customized solutions to meet client needs. You will collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to realize company growth objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate emerging market trends and competitive landscapes.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development goals with overall company strategy.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and sectors for business expansion.
    • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Set Goals & Monitor Progress:
    • Set goals and objectives to measure the success of business development strategy. These goals may include sales targets, market share acquisition, and other key performance indicators.
    • Monitor progress against goals and objectives. Analyze sales data, conduct further customer research, and monitor competitor activity to refine the strategy and ensure its continued effectiveness.
  • Business Growth:
    • Pursue the business growth process from lead generation, achieving and exceeding revenue targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
    • Craft compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the product development and technical teams to ensure client needs are met with innovative IT solutions.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Mentoring:
    • Mentor and guide junior business development staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in business development and client management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business sales and development within the IT services sector in the International Market specifically USA/North America.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud computing, cyber-security, software development, staff augmentation, and managed services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other business development tools.
