Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Director to lead the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering with at least 2 years of experience and PEC registration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop engineering plans, specifications, and designs for distribution pipeline systems in Sindh and Balouchistan regions in collaboration with site engineers.
  2. Implement distribution pipeline projects by conducting site surveys, evaluating route options, and selecting pipeline alignments and construction techniques.
  3. Prepare engineering calculations, hydraulic models, and stress analyses to determine optimal pipeline sizes, material selections, and structural requirements.
  4. Work closely with procurement teams to acquire materials, equipment, and services necessary for distribution pipeline projects.
  5. Participate in safety assessments and risk analyses of distribution pipeline facilities, contributing to the identification of potential hazards.
  6. Assist during construction activities on distribution pipeline projects by monitoring contractor performance, conducting site inspections, and assisting with quality control processes.
  7. Help obtain permits, licenses, and approvals from regulatory bodies and local communities for distribution pipeline projects.
  8. Troubleshoot to resolve operational challenges, maintenance issues, and emergencies related to distribution pipeline networks.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation of engineering drawings, construction records, and project documentation.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in distribution pipeline engineering and management.

Requirements:

  • Engineering graduate from a recognized university.
  • At least 2 years of experience in engineering.
  • PEC registration is mandatory.
