Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems Designer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems Designer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for complex building systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop detailed MEP designs and specifications for various building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
  2. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate MEP designs with overall building plans.
  3. Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to optimize MEP system performance, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Stay updated on relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards related to MEP systems.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients, team members and other stakeholders to convey technical information clearly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in MEP design and engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and MEP design tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
