The primary role of the Senior Business Development Manager is to identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients and driving company growth through strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include project acquisition, client prospecting, proposal development, negotiations, and market research.
- Project Acquisition: Identify, develop, and close projects that align with the company's fintech focus, targeting enterprise clients and startups.
- Client Prospecting: Engage with payment providers, fintech startups, and institutional clients to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Proposal & RFPs: Create tailored proposals, responses, and business decks that meet client needs and showcase expertise.
- Negotiations & Closures: Lead deal negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Market Research: Analyze fintech trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
- Proven success in closing fintech projects, specifically in wallets, payments, or digital banking systems.
- 3–5 years' experience in business development within fintech/software houses.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of financial technology markets.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and pitching skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, bidding platforms, and sales pipelines.
