Job Description

The Director Research will be responsible for developing and implementing research strategies, managing research projects, and disseminating findings to advance organizational goals. The position requires a strong ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research studies and evaluation, with experience in the education or development sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Research Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive research strategies to drive organizational success. Ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Manage Research Projects: Oversee all aspects of research projects, including design, implementation, analysis, and project development. Utilize expertise in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Spearhead Long-Term Research Objectives: Develop and lead long-term research objectives that align with organizational priorities. Provide consultation and support to key stakeholders on research-related matters.
  • Disseminate Research Findings: Publish research findings, briefs, and articles to various audiences through multiple channels. Foster strategic partnerships to amplify research impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Education, Development, or Social Sciences.
  • Significant experience in research and evaluation, preferably in the education or development sector.
  • Demonstrated writing ability and publishing record in academic journals.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to secure grants and manage project budgets efficiently.
