Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in MEP operations for high-rise buildings.

About the Role
As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive reports, tender documents, engineering calculations, and specifications for HVAC, firefighting, vertical transport, plumbing works, and electrical works. You will also scrutinize shop drawings against design and tender drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will conduct technical scrutiny of contracts, supervise installation works on-site, and process contractor's bills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing comprehensive reports, tender documents, engineering calculations, and specifications for various MEP works.
  • Scrutinizing shop drawings against design and tender drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducting technical scrutiny of contracts, supervising installation works on-site, and processing contractor's bills.
  • Carrying out load calculations for all MEP works.
  • Developing and implementing project operation procedures and controls.
  • Preparing progress payments and monitoring project progress.
  • Ensuring timely submission of shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Maintaining quality control procedures.
  • Coordinating labor placement and teamwork efforts.
  • Exercising site coordination and management capabilities.
  • Reviewing bills of quantities and scope of work.
  • Preparing work and cost analyses for variations.
  • Authoring technical reports and project plans.
  • Providing cost estimations and technical detailing of projects.
  • Coordinating all MEP works within the project.
  • Inspecting and installing PPRC, uPVC, GI materials.
  • Controlling and monitoring project costs using Primavera P6.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft, and MEP software applications.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supervising new construction and remodeling projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, as well as ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
  • Familiarity with building code requirements and scheduling methods.
