BIM Modeler

We are seeking a talented and experienced BIM (Building Information Modeling) Modeler / Designer with expertise in Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing BIM software and methodologies to create accurate 3D models and design documentation for construction projects, focusing on both Civil and MEP aspects.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM models for Civil and MEP systems, including structural components, mechanical systems, electrical layouts, and plumbing designs. Create detailed 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) based on project requirements, architectural drawings, and engineering specifications. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Civil and MEP designs into comprehensive BIM models, ensuring clash detection and resolution. Generate accurate drawings, plans, sections, and schedules from BIM models for construction documentation and coordination purposes. Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings to address design conflicts, optimize layouts, and ensure compliance with project standards and regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to improve project efficiency and quality. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to BIM technology and methodologies. Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software usage and implementation.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5-10 years) working as a BIM Modeler / Designer, with a focus on Civil and MEP disciplines in construction projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MEP-specific tools.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and MEP systems design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in BIM modeling and documentation.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts efficiently.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and BIM-based energy analysis tools is a plus.
• Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are advantageous.

Proficiency in BIM Software: Mastery of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks for creating detailed 3D models of MEP and Civil systems.

Construction Documentation: Proficiency in generating construction drawings, schedules, quantities take-offs, and other documentation based on BIM models for MEP and Civil disciplines.

Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP and Civil designs into overall project plans.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM models, construction documents, and other deliverables.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve design challenges and technical issues related to MEP and Civil systems during the modeling and coordination process.
