Sr. Piping Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Piping Engineer to lead our piping engineering team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in piping design, analysis and project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Review and finalize piping-related deliverables, including plot plans, piping layouts, and piping design basis.
  2. Prepare data sheets for valves and special items, as well as tie-in procedures and critical line lists.
  3. Perform and review pipe stress calculations, and assist in identifying critical lines requiring analysis.
  4. Have experience with stress analysis for various systems, including metallic, FRP/HDPE piping, and cryogenic piping.
  5. Prepare pipe supports and detailed drawings, and participate in project kick-off meetings and design reviews.
  6. Ability to review tenders and RFQs, prepare technical clarifications, and finalize techno-commercial bid proposals.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FEED & Detail Engineering in the Oil and Gas Sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards, best engineering practices, and proficiency in drafting and analysis software.
  4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
