Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough verification and validation activities for ongoing software development projects.
  • Test applications against user/client requirements, leveraging your expertise in Black Box testing.
  • Perform smoke testing to ensure seamless application functionality.
  • Undertake regression testing to identify and resolve defects.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate application performance.
  • Effectively communicate defect reports and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools, expanding your skillset to meet evolving project demands.
  • Work closely with developers to understand and address defects, driving process improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software testing, with a strong background in Automated testing tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Software Testing life cycle and Testing Terminologies.
  • Proficiency in Mercury Test Director or similar tools.

Languages/Tools: Mercury Test Director (or any other)
Skills: Automated testing tools, Strong verbal and oral communication skills, Complete knowledge of Software Testing life cycle and Testing Terminologies
Processes: Black Box Testing, Smoke Testing
