Software Development Manager Job

Leading the software development team:

  • Manage all aspects of production, including goal setting, individual development, and performance.
  • Provide technical oversight and expertise as required, working closely with cross-functional managers to ensure quality and achieve delivery targets.

Technical Direction:

  • Drive technical direction of software projects by collaborating with technical leads.
  • Implement key performance indicators for system and team performance.

Team Management:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of software development.
  • Lead teams to predictably deliver high-quality, scalable software.
  • Manage and optimize workflow processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work across departments to align on dev-related items.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues relating to people, product, tech, and process.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales teams by participating in calls with leads and prospects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
Requirements:

Extensive leadership and management experience of a software development team.

A solid understanding of various mobile technology platforms and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

4-5 years' experience in managing a large size software development team and project management.

3 to 4 years' experience in web/mobile application project management.

Experience in cloud development.

Experience in estimating and scheduling complex project tasks.

Excellent knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and implementation.
