Job Title: Cybersecurity Network Architect

This position involves planning, implementing and overseeing the network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security of online IT activities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing and maintaining network systems, supporting on-premises and cloud-based services and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and SOX regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Provide design recommendations and implement standards, policies and procedures for a breadth of network infrastructure.
  • Network Maintenance and Updates: Perform ongoing maintenance and implementation of network updates and patches.
  • Security Protocols: Implement and maintain network security protocols, including certificate-based authentication and cloud networking technologies.
  • Cloud Solutions: Design, implement and manage cloud-based solutions to support business operations, ensuring security, availability and performance of cloud services.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders and developers to ensure smooth planning, implementation and cutovers of network systems, and provide technical support and problem resolution as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in configuring Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching, SDWAN, wireless networks, network-based authentication and cloud networking technologies.
  • Scripting and Development: Proven ability to script in Ansible, PHP, Python, Bash and/or Terraform, and knowledge of network applications and development methodologies.
  • Network Security: Knowledge of configuration with PCI DSS and SOX compliance in relation to network technologies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong analytical abilities, professional office experience and proven written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
